Description: The Colonial Cancer Foundation Scholarship was established in December 2025 by a group of Morristown High School alumni football players, who lost their fathers to cancer.
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has battled cancer or whose parents, caregivers, or siblings have battled or lost the battle to cancer. This is a one-time $10,000 award.
Criteria: The Colonial Cancer Foundation Scholarship will be open to all Morristown High School seniors who have battled cancer or who have parents, caregivers, or siblings who have battled or lost the battle to cancer. The scholarship must be used to pay tuition at a 2 or 4-year college or university or trade school.
Application Requirements:
❏ MEF Common Scholarship Application with current transcript
❏ Complete a supplemental essay (up to 300 words) answering "How has cancer affected your life and how will this scholarship impact your education?"
❏ Provide two letters of recommendation – one from a MHS guidance counselor and one from a community member outside of school.
