Cooking Up Language Skills – $1,400
MSD Bilingual Coach, Lauren Ventresca, teamed up and funded a grant with The Chef it Up for a special community cooking event. Kindergarten bilingual classes at Alfred Vail, Hillcrest and Woodland schools received hands-on learning in the kitchen and every student took home a dessert kit to “cook” with their parents in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.
