The Morris Educational Foundation raises money through several signature fundraising events each year: The Morristown's Got Talent! show, the Colonial Challenge 5K race, and Teacher Tributes. All of the net proceeds from these events help the MEF fulfill its mission.
Morristown's Got Talent!
The Morristown's Got Talent! show is a community event featuring the brightest talent from our area. Anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Morristown, Morris Township, or Morris Plains can audition. The sold-out performance is held in the February/March timeframe each year at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, the Community Theater in Morristown.

The Colonial Challenge is an annual 5K running and walking fitness event benefitting the Morris Educational Foundation. This event kicked off its first race in 2009 and each year attracts runners, joggers, walkers, teachers, and students of all ages. The 5K race winds its way through the beautiful Morris Township setting surrounding Loantaka Park and trails. In addition to this course, a 2-mile walk and a 1-mile kids' event takes participants through the neighborhood and around Ginty Field.
Teacher Tribute Program
In December and May of each year, the MEF reaches out to parents in the Morris School District to encourage donations in honor of the many exceptional teachers and staff members in our schools. Donations may be sent by mail or by using PayPal.
